EP.73 · Where the Current Takes Us

About this drama

After a devastating loss, a widowed parent seeks refuge and anonymity, accepting a temporary position at a remote lakeside clinic. He hopes the quiet, isolated setting will offer a fresh start for himself and his child, far from prying eyes and painful memories. However, his carefully constructed new life is disrupted by the arrival of a brilliant, driven physician who turns out to be his childhood friend – a woman he left behind without a word years ago. As they navigate the complexities of their shared past and the challenges of the clinic, their professional collaboration deepens into a tentative bond. The central pressure builds as their temporary living arrangement begins to feel more permanent, forcing them to confront old wounds and the possibility of a future none of them anticipated. This sweeping and romantic series promises an earned romantic payoff, exploring how belonging must be chosen and earned, even in the most unexpected places.
