EP.39 · The Tenant's Table

About this drama

After a devastating loss, Elias moves his young daughter to the city, hoping for an anonymous fresh start. He takes over a small, struggling cafe in the ground floor of a charming, aging apartment building, determined to rebuild their lives. Unbeknownst to him, the building is owned by the family of Lena, a warm and established local businesswoman who sees Elias's cafe as a threat to her own beloved neighborhood bistro. As the building faces an uncertain future, threatened by a developer, Elias and Lena find themselves reluctantly united. The cafe, once just a business, becomes a lifeline for the tenants, a place where their diverse lives intersect. Elias must confront his past, Lena must re-evaluate her priorities, and together, they must rally the community to save not just a business, but their very homes and the found family within. Their initial rivalry blossoms into a sweeping romance as they discover that belonging is chosen, and a future can be built on shared dreams and collective strength.
