Episode 1

About this drama

To save her dying mother, Nora Whitmore agrees to marry a disgraced jailbird — a swap deal that puts her spoiled half-sister's ring on her own finger. But Adrian Cole isn't ruined. His arrest was staged, the wedding is a chess move in a secret plan, and the broke husband sharing her roof is secretly a billionaire building an empire from the shadows. As Nora hides her debts and her bargain marriage from her sick mother, Adrian quietly pays her bills, punishes the family that humiliated her, and buys her $7,000 shoes no unemployed woman could afford. Someone is bound to start asking questions. The Cinderella story everyone expects? It's about to be flipped.
