EP.45 · The Golden Ledger

About this drama

In a port city carved up by three formidable old families, a meticulous forensic accountant is hired under an assumed identity to scrutinize the books of the dominant organization. She quickly realizes her task is far more dangerous than simple auditing when a carefully orchestrated kidnapping reveals a deeper game: flushing out a traitor at the highest level. Caught between the family's brutal power and her own moral compass, she finds herself under the watchful eye of the security chief, a man whose loyalty was purchased years ago. As the investigation intensifies, their professional antagonism gives way to a complex, forbidden attraction, threatening to unravel not just the family’s secrets, but their own carefully constructed lives. The series promises a fast-moving, cathartic journey towards public reversal and emotional justice, where hidden truths are exposed and true allegiances are tested.
