EP.39 · The Championship Clause

About this drama

Returning to the cutthroat world of a championship sports organization, Maya, a single parent, is ready to reclaim her career and provide for her child. Her ambition collides head-on with Julian, the organization's meticulously controlled executive, who carries a private debt and a past connection to Maya. Their professional lives become irrevocably intertwined when a crucial clause in her contract mandates a marriage neither can afford to reject – a marriage that promises to stabilize the organization but reignites old flames and fresh animosities. As they navigate the complexities of their forced union, the pressures of public scrutiny, and the memories of their shared history, Maya and Julian must confront what they truly owe each other, and themselves. This fast-moving, cathartic drama promises a journey through emotional battles and strategic plays, culminating in a public reversal and well-deserved emotional justice.
